Founded in 2014, Appinio secured its first notable client, Jägermeister, by 2015. In 2019, the company hit the $1 million mark and turned profitable. By 2020, Appinio began its international expansion, entering Spain and France, followed by the USA and the UK in 2021. Today, the company has over 260 employees from 35 nationalities and achieves annual revenues of $30 million (ca. £23.68 million) – representing a revenue increase of 2,900% in the past five years.
From Startup to Global Tech Company
In only ten years, Appinio has grown from a startup to a global, profitable tech company, all while being without venture capital. Appinio’s lean, adaptable business model has allowed it to scale efficiently, always prioritizing customer needs without wasting resources. A key growth driver has been Appinio’s ongoing use of innovative research methods and the development of an AI-fueled technology platform, enabling the rapid and precise delivery of market research results.
